Columbia Police Department raises money for mid-Missouri children’s home

The Columbia Police Department announces a more than $1,000 donation to a mid-Missouri children’s home on their Facebook page.

On Monday, police delivered a $1,265 donation to the Coyote Hill Children’s Home.

Coyote Hill provides housing for abused and neglected children as both long-term and emergency shelter. You can find more information about Coyote Hill by visiting their website.

The money was raised by CPD staff who took part in No Shave November.

According to the department, staff began donating $20 each at the end of October and were allowed to go the month of November without shaving.

It is the third year the department has risen money through No Shave November.
