TODAY: A slightly warmer day is on tap for all of Mid-Missouri, as sunny skies will be in full force today. Afternoon highs today will climb into the mid 40s south of I-70. The westerly breeze at 8-14 mph will give us wind chill readings in the mid 30s this afternoon and evening.
TONIGHT: Skies look to be mostly clear for the start of the evening before clouds build back into Mid-Missouri. Winds will be out of the westerly under 8 mph. Temperatures overnight will bottom out once more in the mid to upper 20s, as the cooler air holds steady across the region.
EXTENDED: We will stay dry through Friday with daytime highs staying in the low to mid 40s. The weekend stays chilly with a slight rain chance late Saturday through Sunday morning. Flurries are not ruled out Sunday morning before 9AM north of I-70. Next week looks like it could be unsettled, with a chance of rain Monday afternoon and evening through Tuesday morning and again Wednesday. We are watching the coldest air yet this season which will move in next Wednesday along with a chance of rain and snow. We’ll have more details as new data comes in.
