More charges filed against shooting suspect after arrest
Jerry Dean Gill is now charged with four additional felonies after he was arrested in Cole County Saturday.
Court documents show the 29-year-old is charged with robbery, armed criminal action, burglary and tampering with a motor vehicle.
These charges are added on to the two counts of domestic assault, one of armed criminal action and false imprisonment.
While he was allegedly on the run from deputies, Gill is accused of stealing a UTV and forcing his way into a Cole County home while brandishing a weapon.
Gill was originally charged after he was accused of having held an ex-girlfriend at gunpoint in his car for two days before shooting her in the shoulder.
According to the probable cause statement, Gill admitted to the shooting, kidnapping and beating of his ex-girlfriend.
A court hearing has not yet been scheduled.
