Monday Morning November 28

TODAY: Morning temperatures will be mild due to thick cloud cover. We’ll be in the low 50s for the morning commute with a slight thunderstorm chance. The chance for scattered rain and possible thunderstorms will carry out all day Monday due to the passing of the cold front. The best chance for the second wave of rain will be in the afternoon for areas along and east of I-44. Anywhere from 0.1″ to 0.5″ can be expected for the southeast portion of our viewing area. The high temperature is expected to reach the upper 50s. Winds will also persist strong and out of the south at 10-15 mph with gusts reaching as high as 30 mph.

TONIGHT: Clouds look to stay with us for much of the evening. Storms will be exiting east of US 63 through 7PM tonight with clouds breaking late. Temperatures will fall colder tonight to the low 40s with a southerly wind under 8 mph.

EXTENDED: Colder air moves in by Tuesday with highs maxing out at 55 degrees. Dry conditions, sunny skies, and colder temperatures are expected for the rest of the week. Midweek looks to be colder with highs on Wednesday in the mid 40s. As of now, adding in the a slight chance for rain and storms possible this weekend.
