Two people killed in wrong-way crash in Wichita

WICHITA, Kan. (AP) — Two people are dead following a wrong-way accident involving two pickup trucks in Wichita. KSNW-TV reports that the accident happened shortly after 9 a.m. Tuesday. Police say a pickup traveling eastbound in the westbound lanes of Kellogg Street struck several vehicles before colliding head-on with another pickup. The drivers of both pickups died — one at the scene and the other at a hospital. Two other vehicles were damaged but no additional injuries were reported. Police have not released the names of those killed in the accident.
