TONIGHT: A slightly warmer night is in store for mid-Missouri as temperatures will be in the upper 30s. Skies will be mostly clear will developing Stratus through the evening hours. A slight southerly breeze will be present at 5-7 mph, helping us warm back up for Sunday.

SUNDAY: After a mostly clear night, temperatures will be in the upper 30s and will increase to the mid to upper 50s for Sunday’s high. Clouds will begin to develop by morning, leading to mostly cloudy conditions for the majority of the day. Winds will also be gusty out of the south around 6-15 mph with gusts up to 22 mph. By evening, there is a chance for rain across Mid-Missouri. The chance for rain is likely to continue overnight. Temperatures will remain above freezing, so no snow is expected; only rain.

EXTENDED: Monday continues the chance for rain with showers thinning out by early afternoon. The farther SE you are in Mid-Missouri, the better chance of rain you will receive with totals ranging from potentially 0.1″ to 0.5.” Colder air moves in by next Tuesday with highs maxing out at 50 degrees. Even colder temperatures are expected for Wednesday and Thursday. Highs will stay into the 40s, followed by dry conditions for Wednesday and Thursday.
