Police arrest woman on suspicion of murder and weapons charges

A woman remains in the Boone County jail Wednesday after police arrested her on suspicion of murder.

Public arrest records show police booked Jaclyn Rose in jail around 3:00 Wednesday morning.

Police arrested Rose on suspicion of murder, armed criminal action, tampering with physical evidence and unlawful use of a weapon.

ABC 17 News checked public charging records and Rose is not yet formally charged. However, those records indicated she has been sentenced to jail in the past for charges of receiving stolen property, fraudulent use of a credit card and driving while intoxicated. Of those convictions, records show Rose only served 5 days in jail for the DWI charge.

ABC 17 News is reaching out to police to find out what led up to the arrest and if it has to do with either of two recent homicides in the city. We’ll update this story as we learn more.
