TODAY: Patchy fog is possible again this morning in low areas and near grassy surfaces. Dense fog is not likely this morning. After a cool start with temperatures in the mid 40s, we’ll warm into the low to mid 70s in the afternoon with a southerly wind of 6-12 mph under sunny skies.

TONIGHT: It looks to stay mostly clear with winds starting to pick up and gust to 20 mph by 7PM-9PM west of US 63. It looks to be a breezy night for those west. This will keep temperatures well above normal in the mid 50s overnight.

EXTENDED: Thursday remains sunny and warm with afternoon temperatures reaching the upper 70s to near 80. Thursday afternoon, winds will gust up to 35-40 mph with strongest winds west of HWY 63. We’ll have to watch for a possible wind advisory in our western counties. Friday will bring a chance of rain in the morning through early afternoon with rain amounts from a tenth of an inch to a half inch with higher amounts east of HWY 63. Timing looks to be from 8AM-2PM. Over the weekend, it’s looking like temperatures will cool back down with highs in the upper 40s Saturday and Sunday. During the day Saturday expect a northwest breeze, with sustained winds of 10-20 mph. A wind chill is expected most of the day, making it feel more like the upper 30s to low 40s.
