Neither driver injured in crash on Highway 63

The Boone County Fire Protection District responded to a two-vehicle crash Tuesday night.

The call went out just before 8:30 p.m. on the southbound lanes of Highway 63 near Pinnacles Road, north of Columbia.

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, a white car rear-ended a truck in the right lane, causing both to roll off the highway about 50 yards.

No one was injured in the crash. Fire protection district volunteer Wayne Cummins said both drivers wore seatbelts.
