Lake Ozark man jailed after infant found with narcotics in system

A Lake Ozark man is jailed in Camden County Jail following his arrest Sunday night.

According to the Lake Ozark Police Department, officers responded to a medical call Sunday at 11pm. When officers arrived, they found an unresponsive 15 month-old infant. During the investigation, officers found narcotics in the home, and arrested two suspects for possession.

It was later learned that the infant had methamphetamine, opiates, and oxycodone in it’s system. That infant is now in the care of Family Services.

Nickolas Malan has been charged with felony abuse of a child, and is being held on a $100,000 cash only bond.
