Mizzou talks about preparation for Armed Forces Bowl

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The Mizzou football team is continuing its preparation for its Armed Forces Bowl matchup with Army on Dec. 22.

Despite a rocky start to the year, MU did finish the season 6-5. Head coach Eli Drinkwitz said his team is excited to get one last chance to play together.

"They still want to play," he said "You get to this time of year there's going to be guys who necessarily don't want to and whatnot, but these guys really want to play and they really want to be here. I think it's also a really good carrot to have in front of them that they're going to get to be home for Christmas."
