Crews extinguish car fire in Boone County

UPDATE, 11/2 9:20 a.m: The Boone County Fire Protection District says the fire started in the engine compartment, and there is no definite cause but they do not suspect any foul play.

ORIGINAL STORY: A car caught on fire in Boone County Tuesday afternoon.

It happened just after 4:00 p.m. on North Brown Station Road by Route B.

Crews worked quickly to extinguish the blaze.

ABC 17 News has put in calls to the Boone County Fire Protection District to find out what caused the car to catch fire.
