No one hurt in crash involving school bus

ABC 17 News has new details about a string of crashes involving a school bus in south Columbia. It was reported around 4:30 p.m. Friday down the street from Rock Bridge High School by Providence Road and Nifong Boulevard.

Things finally cleared around 5:40 p.m. Police tell ABC 17 News a total of five cars were involved.

One child was on board, but no one was taken to the hospital. Another bus was called to take the student home.

Officials still have not confirmed the cause of the original crash, but officers say the second one happened as traffic was slowing down near the first scene.
