Tuesday Evening, October 25

TONIGHT: Temperatures will be slightly above normal overnight with lows in the mid 50s as clouds increase. Showers and a few t-storms are possible by 5 AM in Chariton, Saline and Macon counties.

WEDNESDAY: Scattered showers and t-storms will move in during the morning after 5 AM from the northwest and track to the southeast through early afternoon. Depending on how much cloud cover there is tomorrow, a second round of storms looks possible from 5-8 PM with as a cold front moves through. Rainfall amounts Wednesday are expected to range from .10″ to 0.25″ near I-70 with areas farther north closer to .50″.

EXTENDED: It will be cooler Wednesday night as skies clear and temperatures fall into the upper 40s by morning. Skies will remain mostly sunny Thursday with highs in the upper 60s. It looks warm during the day Friday with high temperatures near 80 degrees. The upcoming weekend looks dry with plenty of sun and above average temperatures reaching the mid-upper 70s Saturday and near 70 Sunday.
