Cold Thursday night, possible frost
A cold front moved through Thursday afternoon, sending cooler, drier air into Mid-Missouri. High pressure building over the area Thursday night will give us clear skies and a light northerly breeze which will bring temperatures down into the upper 30s with some mid 30s north of HWY 24.
Widespread frost is possible overnight in northern Missouri and a Frost Advisory is in effect from 4 to 8 AM Friday. This advisory includes Macon and Monroe counties where overnight lows will dip close to 36 degrees. Patchy frost is possible in valleys north of I-70.
Tender vegetation should be protected and potted plants covered or brought inside in the Frost Advisory area.
