Deputies, OSHA investigating construction worker’s death
Cole County sheriff’s deputies and the Occupational Safety and Health Administration are investigating the death of a 28-year-old construction worker.
An equipment accident was the cause of the man’s death according to Capt. John Wheeler of the Cole County Sheriff’s Department.
It happened just before 10:30 Monday morning in the 7000 block of Heritage Highway near Route D and Highway 54 in Cole County.
The victim’s name has not yet been released.
