Man threatens female victim with machette

On Oct. 13 at 10:44 p.m., officers were dispatched to the 2500 block of Calico Lane for a domestic dispute.

According to officials, Jaymes O’Connor grabbed a female victim, 37, by her hair and struck the victim’s head against the wall on two separate occasions. O’Connor proceeded to place both hands around the victim’s neck for two to three seconds. O’Connor then grabbed a 12 inch long “machette” and held it at the victim’s side while threatening the victim.

The victim sustained a golf ball sized knot on the back of her head as a result of the incident. O’Connor and the victim are in an intimate relationship.

O’Connor was arrested for armed criminal action with a bond of $4,500.00.
