Structure fire on Clark Lane

UPDATE 1:55 p.m.: Officials were able to get the fire under control in 10 minutes. The trailer that caught on fire was being used as a permanent residence, which sustained heavy smoke and fire damage estimated at $8000.

The cause of the fire was an unattended kitchen stovetop, according to officials.

ORIGINAL STORY: Emergency crews were dispatched to the 3900 block of Clark Lane on Friday morning for a structure fire.

ABC 17 News has confirmed with the officials on scene that no one was in the trailer at the time of the fire.
