No. 3 Mizzou splits top-25 tri-dual, remains undefeated in conference

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

The No. 3 Mizzou wrestling team is no 4-1 on the season, following a split in tri-dual action between No. 17 Northern Iowa and No. 10 Virginia Tech on Saturday.

The Tigers took down the Panthers of Northern Iowa, 25-16, early in the afternoon. However, the night dual proved too much, as Brian Smith's team fell 18-16 in overtime against the Hokies.

Up next - MU will travel to Niceville, Florida where the group will meet Binghamton and No. 6 North Carolina State.
