Boone County man arrested for promoting child pornography
According to the Boone County Sheriff Department’s official news release, a Boone County man was arrested for promoting of child pornography first degree on Wednesday. The child is under 14 years old.
The suspect is identified as Adam Singleton, 33, who resides at 1711 Kitty Hawk, Apartment 4, located in Columbia, Missouri. His bond hasn’t been set.
The investigation began in July 2016 when the Boone County Sheriff’s Department Cyber Crimes Task Force received a CyberTip report from the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. The CyberTip reported a subject in Columbia, Missouri had uploaded child pornography using a chat room.
