Columbia man sentenced to 10 years for robbery, threatening victim

A Columbia man was sentence to 10 years in prison after pleading guilty to robbery and tampering with a victim.

Maurice Penny waived his right to a preliminary hearing on Friday and pleaded guilty to both counts.

Officers arrested Penny in 2015 after he robbed a man and, later, threatened the victim, promising bad things would happen if he was arrested.
