Two St. Louis County officers injured in car crash

BELLEFONTAINE NEIGHBORS, Mo. (AP) — Two St. Louis County police officers are hospitalized after a car crash. The accident happened Wednesday afternoon in north St. Louis County, near the intersection of Bellefontaine Road and Crete Drive. Few details have been released. The St. Louis Post-Dispatch reports that police blocked off roads to allow a clear path for the ambulances transporting the officers to the hospital. Police have not disclosed the cause of the accident or the names of the officers.
