St. Louis Police: Man shot to death during attempted robbery

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Police in St. Louis say a man was shot to death during an attempted robbery outside an apartment complex on the city’s south side. The shooting happened around 3:30 p.m. Tuesday near the Fountains at Carondelet apartment complex. Police believe three men met at the complex before one of them tried to rob the other two. Police say the two men then shot the man trying to rob them. Police have not released the name of the man killed or said whether arrests have been made in the case.
