Man arrested, accused of stealing from auto shop

A Columbia man was arrested on suspicion of stealing, trespassing, and property damage.

Harold Wayne Stewart is being held on a $27,500 bond in the Boone County Jail.

According to Columbia Police, they received a call around 12:30 Sunday morning for a disturbance at Woody’s Auto Shop.

Police believe Stewart was breaking into cars at the auto shop.
