Columbia police investigating early morning armed robbery at Economy Taxi
Columbia police say they’re investigating an armed robbery that happened early Friday morning.
Police say it happened just before 6:30am in the 1500 block of West Business Loop 70 at the Economy Taxi.
The female victim apparently told police two men came into the store armed with guns and demanded money. Police say the suspects then ran off on foot with an unknown amount of money.
Police don’t have much of a suspect description because the men apparently had clothing covering their faces.
The victim was not hurt in the incident and police say they have not made any arrests.
