Child hit by car in Jefferson City
A child was recovering Wednesday night after being hit by a car in Jefferson City.
It happened around 5:00 p.m. in the 1300 block of East Elm Street when, according to Jefferson City Police, the 8-year-old ran out in front of a vehicle.
The child then hit the front passenger side of the vehicle.
He was transported to a local hospital and treated for minor injuries.
