Man accused of burglarizing Jefferson City business

A man was charged in Cole County Friday with second-degree burglary.

Roger Dydell is accused of unlawfully entering a building for the purpose of committing a crime.

Court documents show it happened Friday just before 2 a.m. at a business in the 3200 block of Missouri Boulevard.

Investigators say the reporting person identified Dydell on surveillance video. Officers then viewed the footage and recognized Dydell.

Court documents claim Dydell was able to get into the building by using a key. He reportedly used to work for the cleaning company that cleaned the business.

Authorities went to his residence and found Dydell wearing the same clothing from the surveillance video. Investigators say he was with another suspect at the time of the burglary.

Four tires were allegedly stolen from the business.

At last check, Dydell was in the Cole County Jail with a bond set at $75,000.
