Pedestrian hit and run on I-70 early Sunday morning
A 67-year-old Columbia man is recovering after he was hit by a car early Sunday morning.
Around 1 a.m., the Missouri State Highway Patrol said a man was walking on the ramp to I-70 from Route UU when he was hit by a car.
Troopers on scene said the driver of the car took off.
The 67-year-old man was taken to the hospital with moderate injuries.
ABC 17 News has reached out to Boone County Sheriff’s Department, who is helping with the investigation, to see if a driver has been arrested. We are still waiting to hear back.
