Columbia pharmacy robbed at gunpoint

Columbia Police is investigating an armed robbery at a Columbia pharmacy.

Officers were called to Kilgores Pharmacy in the 1600 block of Chapel Hill Road at 9:30 Saturday morning in reference to an armed robbery.

According to police, a male suspect entered the pharmacy armed with a gun and demanded narcotics from a locked cabinet. The suspect made off with an undisclosed about of pharmaceuticals and left the area in a light colored car.

There were no injuries and no property damage done during the robbery.
