Couple found dead in Pulaski County home

Authorities in Pulaski County are investigating the deaths of two people from Laquey after their bodies were found in their home Thursday.

A family member found the bodies of Alva “Alvey” Green and Martha Jefferies after going to the home out of concern, since the pair hadn’t been seen for several weeks. A coroner determined the Green, 73, and Jefferies, 75, had been dead for some time, but the cause is still under investigation.
