Heavy rains cause flooding in parts of Mid-Missouri

The heavy rains Sunday night caused some storm damage for Mid-Missouri residents Monday morning.

ABC 17 News crews traveled to Hartsburg, where residents said some homes had partial flooding.

One resident told our ABC 17 News crew he was waist-deep in water Sunday night.

Roads in Boone County that were closed for flooding have now opened back up. Here’s a list where you can find road closures in Boone County.

According to MoDOT, some roads west of Boonville are still closed for flooding. Here’s a link to the MoDOT traveler’s map where you can find the latest road closures.
