Tracking cold wind chills into Saturday morning

TONIGHT: Clouds slowly decrease with lows falling into the upper 20s. Gusty winds keep wind chills in the upper teens to low 20s.

TOMORROW: Partly sunny with winds easing. Highs in the mid-40s. Showers move in from the northwest after sunset and stick around through dawn Sunday.

EXTENDED: Light flurries should wane with sunset and I'm not expecting any impacts other than folks noticing it and letting us know. The brutal wind sticks around into tomorrow morning and has knocked off a ton of leaves from trees since yesterday. The wind chill remains in the low 20s by morning as lows fall into the upper 20s at sunrise. It will be a cold start for deer hunters and tailgaters alike, but at least the winds die down and sun comes out during the day to get us into the mid-40s before rain returns tomorrow night. Light showers are expected to move in from the northwest after about 7:00 to 8:00 p.m. Saturday evening through early Sunday morning. Behind that weak system, we'll be dry by early Sunday afternoon and get close to 50 for the high. Next week starts off mild and sunny on Monday and Tuesday before another system moves in mid-week and brings a chance of rain late Tuesday night into Wednesday. Behind that we drop into the upper 40s to low 50s for the end of next week, with the potential of more rain on Friday.
