HR director and health department assistant director resign from City of Columbia positions

COLUMBIA, Mo. (KMIZ)

Two officials with the City of Columbia turned in their resignations over the past week.

Richard Enyard resigned from his role as human resources director for the City of Columbia.
Scott Clardy resigned from his role as the assistant director for the Columbia/Boone County Health Department.

Sydney Olsen, the public information officer for Columbia, confirmed with ABC 17 News that Scott Clardy resigned as assistant director of the Columbia/Boone County Department of Public Health and Human Services last Friday, Nov. 5.

She also confirmed that Richard Enyard resigned from his position as director of human resources on Monday. Both resignations took effect immediately.

Enyard had served as HR director since last December. Clardy has worked with the City of Columbia since August 2012.

"The City will follow its normal processes to advertise those positions and interview applicants," Olsen said. "HR should have more detail on when those positions will open up for applicants to apply."

Officials did not provide reasons for the departures.
