Death of 1-year-old Topeka boy under investigation

TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) — Authorities are investigating the death of a 1-year-old boy in Topeka. City spokeswoman Gretchen Spiker said emergency responders were called around 11:15 a.m. Tuesday. The child then was rushed to a hospital where he was pronounced dead. The Topeka Capital-Journal reports that the boy’s name hasn’t been made public. His cause and manner of death remain undetermined.
