The crash happened on Highway 163 near Rock Quarry Road, just south of Columbia.
The Boone County Fire Protection District and Missouri State Highway Patrol restricted traffic on the two-lane highway around 10:30 p.m. Trooper Scott Ballard told ABC 17 News a truck passed a motorcycle heading north on Highway 163, and “lost control” as he made his way back over.
