Scooter driver injured in crash on Missouri Boulevard
A Jefferson City woman is recovering after her scooter was hit by a car at the intersection of Missouri Boulevard and Michigan Street.
According to police, the driver of the car was turning onto Missouri from Michigan when the scooter, driven by Paige Dow, rode in front of the car. The two vehicles collided, and Dow was thrown from the scooter. Dow, who was wearing a helmet, was taken to a local hospital for treatment.
The driver of the car was not hurt.
