Victims, suspect identified in Sedalia shooting

Two people are in the hospital following a shooting in Sedalia early Thursday. Police say Elisha Curry, 30, and Terez Lewis, 27, were taken to a trauma center. Henry Ward, 18, is currently in custody, after ABC 17 News got video of his arrest in north Columbia.

Officers went to a home shortly before 5 a.m. on South Sneed Avenue near 18th Street and Highway 65, where they found both victims. They identified a possible suspect, who was caught at a Columbia home off Bodie Drive near Rangeline.

Curry is in fair condition as of midday Friday; Lewis has been released from the hospital.
