One woman killed in ATV crash in Phelps County

PHELPS, Mo. (KMIZ)

One woman was killed in an ATV crash late Saturday night in Phelps County.

According to a Missouri State Highway Patrol crash report, 29-year-old Kayla Gooch, was driving along County Road 7240 when her ATV went off the right side of the road.

The ATV then went back onto the road and overturned, throwing Gooch from the vehicle. The ATV then came to a stop and landed on top of Gooch.

She was pronounced dead at the scene according to the crash report. This is Troop I's second fatality this month and 29th of the year.
