Chance of Sunday storms

Mid-Missouri is under a Marginal Risk for severe weather, valid from 7 AM Sunday until 7 AM Monday. This is a threat for damaging winds up to 58 MPH and hail up to an 1″ in diameter. This chance for storms is due to a cold front moving through northern Missouri early Sunday morning and making its way through Missouri throughout the later part of the morning, leaving our southern counties by Sunday evening. There is a chance for a few sprinkles for the whole viewing area, but the greater chance of rain will be in the southeast counties.

After this cold front moves through Sunday evening, conditions will be favorable with clearing skies, the temperature in the upper 80s, and a hint of mugginess.
