Thursday Evening Marginal Risk
A weak cold front will stall south of HWY 50 this evening bringing a chance for storms mainly after 4PM. Storms in the evening could have damaging winds over 58 mph and large hail over 1″ in diameter. The risk is low, Marginal, but the threat is there. There will be the potential for storms to produce a quick shot of 0.50″ to .75″ of total rainfall through 10PM for southern Benton, Camden, Morgan, and Pulaski counties. It looks like areas north of HWY 50 including Jefferson City and Columbia, along with areas north of I-70 will stay dry through the evening and overnight.
