Heat Advisory Wednesday
A Heat Advisory will be in effect from 11am until 9 PM Wednesday with heat indices ranging from 100 to 106.
Temperatures will quickly heat up to 90 degrees by noon with the heat index rising to 100 by 1 PM and staying over 100 through 7 PM. High temperatures will reach the upper 90s. Columbia will get close to the record high of 100 for June 22nd.
If you will be outside, make sure to drink plenty of water, wear sunblock or a hat, and try to limit your time in the sunshine.
