Trailer fire in Boone County deemed a total loss

UPDATE 6/21 10:45 A.M.-Firefighters say the cause of the fire was electrical. The trailer was fairly old and had a faulty outlet. The estimated amount of damage is $10,000. The woman living in the trailer has to move, but is going to live with nearby family members.

ORIGINAL STORY:Centralia firefighters say an early morning trailer fire has left one person without a home.

Fire crews were called to 19140 Adams Road around 6:45 a.m. Tuesday morning for reports of smoke coming from a trailer.

When they got on scene they were able to contain the fire to the living room area, but smoke damage made its way through to trailer.

Officials told ABC 17 the trailer is a total loss.

No one was hurt in the fire and an estimated amount of damage has not been determined.
