Dozens without power in mid-Missouri after early morning storms

Dozens of people were without power Tuesday morning after early morning storms rolled through the area.

According to Ameren’s outage map, 23 customers were without power in Boone County and eight customers were without power in Audrain County.

Boone Electric Cooperative also reported three areas were without power. Two of those area had less than 25 customers without power, while the third had 33 customers without power.

ABC 17 News checked Columbia Water & Light Tuesday morning. It was reporting no outages impacting customers in Columbia.

Public dispatch records show emergency crews responded to two vehicle crashes in Boone County Tuesday morning. One crash involved a semi truck that ended up in a ditch on I-70. The crash apparently briefly caused a back up from West Boulevard to Providence.
