Emergency crews respond to crash near Highway 63 and Peterson Lane

Emergency crews responded to a crash Monday afternoon in south Boone County.

It happened around 4:45 Monday on Highway 63 near Peterson Lane.

Public dispatch records indicate at least six units responded to the scene.

Ashland police told ABC 17 that a motorcycle was reportedly driving at excessive speeds when it crashed into two vehicles.

One vehicle was able to leave the scene. The motorcycle and another vehicle had to be towed.

Sgt. Jame Creel with the Ashland Police Department told ABC 17 that the motorcyclist was taken to University Hospital with severe injuries.
