Man seriously injured in early morning crash in Maries County

The Missouri State Highway Patrol investigated a crash on Highway H near Highgate around 3 a.m. Saturday.

Troopers said the driver, Anthony MacClugage, started to drive off the right side of the road then came back on to the road and skidded. The driver then drove off the road again and hit a tree.

MacClugage was life-flighted to University Hospital with serious injuries.
