Man arrested following fight with girlfriend
Boone County deputies arrest a man Wednesday night after they reportedly find a methamphetamine pipe in his pocket.
Investigators told ABC 17 News their investigation started out as domestic disturbance in the 5900 block of Kent Drive. Deputies said the fight was between the man and his girlfriend.
Witnesses reported the man had chased the woman around with a weapon that turned out to be a BB gun.
While deputies questioned the man, they allegedly located a meth pipe in his pocket. However, the man’s girlfriend left the scene before she could be interviewed.
The man’s identity hasn’t been released yet, nor have possible charges been divulged.
