Former Lincoln University employee claims racial discrimination

Testimony continued Wednesdayin Dr. Annette Digby’s civil suit against Lincoln University.

The former vice president of academic affairs claims she was forced to resign in 2011 because she is white.Digby is seeking $175,000 per year for 5 years, including a 10% annual raise. She is also seeking attorneys fees and compensation for the humiliation she claims this situation has caused.

The 150-year-old college is denying the claims saying, race had nothing to do with Digby’s termination.

The jury trial is scheduled to continue through Friday. ABC 17 News will track the lawsuit as it moves forward and post updates online and on air.
