Central Missouri United Way launches 2016 campaign

The United Way of Central Missouri on Tuesday announced the launch of this year’s fundraising campaign.

The organization aims to raise $1.825 million in the next year, an increase of $25,000 from last year’s goal, which was met.

United Way also announced Matt Tollerton and Jay Dunkmann as the campaign’s co-chairs.

The organization announced 2016 Community Support Grant recipients, who will receive a portion of $75,000 as a one-time grant:

American Red Cross Boys and Girls Club Capital City Court Appointed Special Advocates (CASA) Central Missouri Foster Care and Adoption Association Council for Drug-Free Youth Pathways Salvation Army El Puente Gateway Industries Habitat for Humanity Independent Living Resource Center (ILRC) Kid’s Harbor Working Wheels for Working Families
