KMIZ

ST. LOUIS (AP) — Police are investigating separate shooting deaths that happened hours apart in St. Louis. Police say the shootings happened early Sunday morning, beginning with a shooting just before 3:30 a.m. in the city’s O’Fallon neighborhood. Investigators say they were alerted when the man who had been shot showed up at a hospital with gunshot wounds to his chest. He died a short time later. Around 6 a.m., police were called to the Academy neighborhood and found a 41-year-old man shot in the abdomen. Police say he died at the scene before paramedics could arrive. Police have not released the names of the victims or announced any arrests in either case.
