Officials ID homicide suspect arrested in Boonville

Boonville Police Chief Bobby Welliver told ABC 17 News the Johnson County homicide suspect was arrested in Boonville Saturday around 8:15 p.m. On Monday, the Missouri Rural Major Case Squad confirmed Raymond Blake Brockway, 26, of Sedalia, is a person of interest. The team is now disbanding, after tracking down over 140 leads.

Authorities identified the victim as Thomas Craig, from Fulton. He found was shot to death in Johnson County last week south of I-70 between Concordia and Sweet Springs.

Chief Welliver could not comment any further on the arrest, and directed further questions to the lead agency, which is now the Johnson County Sheriff’s office.
